I like every AFI album in it's own way. Maybe it's because I can appreciate many genre's of music that I have no problem with the variety of music AFI have put out over the years. They're fucking great, they can play whatever and it sounds good either way, kudo's to them for not sticking to some boring standard.

AFI is AFI. Why complain about any of it? Every album I've heard, from their first few to their latest, are all amazing. Music is music, AFI is AFI. Would love to hear them live.

I prefer old AFI as well, however their transition into their current style was done with quality, so who am I to complain? For those who say they sold out, just imagine what you'd do if faced with an opportunity for making more money and gaining a wider audience. Had their music suffered then I would no longer be a fan.

The cool thing about them is that they could make you appreiciate types of music you haven't really cared enough to even think of listening to before.
