This is an example of an artist that cannot perform as well live as he does in the studio. "Close to Human" may be one of my favorite Aggrotech/EBM albums of all time, mostly because of the harsh synth tones and vocal effects. He's running an almost completely dry mic here. Some distortion would have made a world of difference.

@treqie Did you even bother to read my comment (which might I mention, was posted over a year ago)? Some guy called it techno with screamo and a bunch of people jumped all over him for it. I replied to them saying it was just a mistake and in LAYMEN terms it was correct. If I wanted to be "correct" I'd call it emotonic, which is what Daniel labeled it on myspace. Which is just to show even more so that the genre doesn't mean fuck all.

I really love Aesthetic Perfection! This performance was fantastic however, unfortunately, the only thing breaking down in this version of "Sacrifice" is Daniel's voice. Needs moar distortion plox.

It doesn't make a difference though. The sound coming out is going to be the same anyway. Besides, this may not be the case for everything, he may not have been able to find someone who could play at the time.

what is the difference between playing and pretend it? is the same between a real live concert and a karaoke show, if you look for last wgt AP concert videos you can see the keyboarder typing randomly on keyboard and music shamelessy automated, maybe from an audio cd on the mix stage.

I don't understand how Aesthetic Perfection can be so awesome and creative musically, but have no feel for stage presence, performance, or how to make a video.
