**I DO NOT OWN THIS SONG!**

Daughters, sons, river deaths:

faces pale like moons;

and hands, bright stars.

Fair children cradle water graves.

Vast river, spirits, can you hear us pray?

Arise, hear my lullaby,

upon unlived lives.

Vast river, dark water,

I drown in lament endlessly.

Spirit guide, river stag arise,

eyes ablaze and hide steaming,

pull treasures from turbid water.

Tisza's child clothed in liquid light

arise, awake, mystify.

How I drowning bathe in rivers

that flood all hope in water,

final lord, and I will fly to thee.

I found them by looking up Lori Lewis' list of works. Not sure if others discovered them in a similar way. I'm very glad to have found them, their work with, and without her is superb. It reminds me a bit of Theater of Tragedy's album Aegis, which is a masterpiece I couldn't find much that could compare until now.

Meshuggah's not death metal either they're more Avant Garde or Extreme Metal. I'd say Djent but that's not really a full-fledged genre yet just a style that they pioneered and made famous.

"Dawn of the New Athens is a symphonic poem that journeys across the globe and the temporal realm, from the Tisza River in Hungary to a dark and timely Orwellian world."

Well frankly that isn't true. It is indeed symphonic power metal, albeit a very alternative form of it. I love it though, I just keep coming back for more.

I bought their album, "Here lies one whose name was written in water" back in 2004. I have been a fan of them since. I see they are getting more popularized.

I love Lori's low notes, they're amazing! At first, I couldn't believe it was her singing so low and I still almost can't believe it.
