Holy crap, more than 40 years into it and Steven Tyler still sounds freaking flawless. Guy is inhuman.

awesome song. Kicked my ass when I got "Rocks" back in 1976 and still kicked my ass just now.

Always preferred Brad's playing over Joe's, Brad is highly underrated!!! Gotta' love Joe's amp collection tho'...

Good morning, Friends and Plussers! Can this Wednesday still be called hump day in the US since we were off on Monday? Maybe bust your hump day? I dunno. It's my off day from exercising, but I have a related activity tonight. I need to take my bike in for a check after the ride on Sunday. I keep hearing some clinking noises in my crank/pedal out of the saddle going up hills. I don't need a breakdown during my tri in 10 days. Nope. I've learned that much from some good people who shared their experiences. Thank you for the shares! You know who you are!

The song’s main riff was written by Joe Perry on a Fender Bass VI, which gives the song its distinctive “growl”. Brad Whitford plays the lead guitar part. “Back in the Saddle” also features one of the heaviest and noticeable bass lines by Tom Hamilton.
