More and more people are "waking up" spiritually. And for most of them, the question becomes: now what? "Information about life after awakening is usually not made public," explains Adyashanti. "It's most often shared only between teachers and their students." The End of Your World is his response to a growing need for direction on the spiritual path.

this message is where it's at, folks. And to even read someone say "it's not difficult," just makes my head spin. As I proceed down my path, I literally cannot fathom someone awakening in a way that is not agonizingly difficult, especially at times. For it to be "so easy we miss it" suggests their life conditions before awakening were "compatible" with the enormous shift that occurs during awakening. And that does not seem possible to me. I'm not able to say someone is "wrong" and I cannot deny their experience, but it makes me wonder about the nature of that person's experience. How can something be "easy" when almost everything you believe and perceive - your entire worldview, point of view, and value system - changes massively? How do you "miss" that? No, in my experience, Mr Adyashanti is precisely right: it's unimaginably challenging. It's all summarized in Joseph Campbell's recognition of the Hero's Journey. Those monsters are REAL. There's simply no way to slay those dragons "easily" - at least in my experience.

The path seems very difficult, I need time for the Ego to pass, and for surrender to occur. I wouldn't mind about 12 years or so for this to happen.
