many years ago I read an interview with Adamski in a music technology magazine, he described how he came to construct 'Killer' he was messing around with the bassline and accidentally assigned the midi channel of the bass line to the TR909 he was using and the bass line literally 'played the drum part' which is the effect you hear particularly well at the beginning of the track, he described it as a 'happy accident' that inspired the whole tune. He also mentioned his dog, who's bark he sampled, if you listen carefully to the instrumental breakdowns after the 'live your life the way you wanna be' verse you can hear his dog's bark in the mix.great great tune, perhaps the best dance track ever made.
