The thing most christians who decry gay marriage do not realise is that what they do when they sit on a pedestal of judgement against anyone else, they are sitting there in sin themselves. "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." And my favourite verse, which applies DIRECTLY to that situation, "For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again." ~ Matthew 7:2Lets discuss what Matthew means, shall we?If you judge someone, you'll be judged, and how vehemently and harshly you judge them, you shall be judged JUST as harshly. By whom? Why, by God of course!So take heed.Oh, and when you cherry-pick verses out of the bible the way that most (not all) christians do, and you ignore the rest of the bible to further your personal and/or political agendas, you're tempting god; you are sinning, just as you say the gays are, or the transgendered people are. You should all know better. Why don't you let GOD be the judge, the way your bible says you should, and stop trying to pass laws that force the rest of us to inadvertently follow the tenets of your religion, hmn?Oh, and I thought that Yeshua gave one final, great commandment. "Love thy neighbours." Didn't he say that was the greatest of all commandments? I... do believe he did.Now, I am not a christian. I haven't been a christian in decades, mostly because in my heart and in my head I have never felt god nor felt proof of god's existence. It makes no fundamental sense to me that any god should exist, much less only one god out of the thousand recognised deities that exist today. However, I do not disparage belief as long as it is not foisted on me unwillingly. So, christians, do please keep your "Gospel" to yourself, stop trying to make the entire USA follow your personal tenets and beliefs through the passing of bogus laws that violate the separation of church and state, and we'll be okay? Came here bcause of Rapmon :D omg its such a beautiful song... I need to listen to Adam Lambert more! Especially being bisexual myself the lyrics are so meaningful <3 Though luckily I've never had to deal with homophobes irl, but just knowing there are people out there who feel this strongly against same sex love is hurtful enough.
