I don't think his voice was flattered by it at all. I think if they had the right sound system(which I don't know if they had) then he would have sounded 100 times better live. In my opinion.

ADAM laid down the backing tracks himself. It wasn't anyone else singing but ADAM. It is impossible to sing lead & backup yourself & ADAM had no backup singers so singing LIVE to his own backing tracks became necessary. ADAM did not lip sync, however, so it was all good. He sounded & looked Phenomenal as always. I LOVED this performance & what an honor for ADAM!

i think he was forced to sing playback, because after adam's performance was dancing performance and others, they must change the music theme continuously.

I guess I can excuse it if it wasn't his decision. He really does, though. It's basically why I'm such a big fan of him, because he has that genuine ability to sing brilliantly live with no exceptions. Which is why this really isn't for me :/

I wonder how involved he was in the recording of the song. And by that I mean how much of the autotune riffs can I blame on someone else? And I do sincerely hope he was forced to sing playback. It's something I never thought I'd see from Adam. The song(minus autotune riffs) is pretty good, but it reminds me of the songs he recorded before Idol(pop goes the camera, oh my ra, etc). I just can't handle him singing playback. It sucks.
