These Masterbilts are fantastic especially for the price. Really like the vintage styling compared to the regular Epiphone looks and just can't beat all solid wood construction especially for the price. I just got the DR500MCE and absolutely love it. Great job Epiphone.

i like the demo... will the guitar also sound good for strumming? someone said it might sound muddy for strumming? or is that bullshit? i mean what is the disadvantage compared to a advanced jumbo model regarding strumming.. not as much bass?

I believe I enjoyed the sound of this guitar the most. didn't like the stage sound of the others, could be I just don't enjoy them plugged in. Was good to have the opportunity to listen after reading the article. Thanks
