If I remember the story correctly, the song is about how the band found out that the bass player was looking to leave. He was convinced to stay...

Damn could you imagine having to play this song every night? The drummer must absolutely dread it.

What a terrific version! It's refreshing to see that they didn't lip-sync to the recorded version. And *nice* guitar playing too!

What's interesting is that this song Paul wrote is about his bassist secretly sneaking of to work with another band behind his back and not about a love relationship.

YES,YES! THIS is what "MUSIC" used to be! Some of the other comments don' know how RIGHT you are! I am, also, a musician, and in THOSE days, you had to know how to PLAY your instrument! You recorded on, at the most, 16 tracks for the instruments, and harmonies of the singers. NOW, "singers" have their voices dubbed over 3 or 4 times. This was a "trick" used when a "singer" would go out of key, or HAD no key! With this trick, they "sounded" like they were in key because of the "overdubbing" (Listen to ANY of today's "singers" and notice that there are three or four voices with them! ) Time moves on, BUT I am happy that there are people that appreciate the "real" music of the '70s and '80s! "Rock on, people!" RVC
