As a teen of the 80's,I have to say that the feeling was very different from what it is now...actually since the mid 90's..feel good metal was over by then..Heavy metal fashion was key in the 80's...but since the late 90's,larger than life metal presence just "lost its presence".I go back to my metal roots all the time..circa 80 to 85....thats where its at!!

This is one goddamn masterpiece of an album! I love everything ACCEPT ever made, but this is definitely up there with the best! The sound of production, the guitar-tone, the songwriting, the harmonies and melodies, the drums... My fave is still Russsian Roulette, but this is a great, great record that must go down in history as one of the best releases of the 1980's On par with brilliant records like the Skid Row debut, the GnR ditto and Dr.Feelgood by Crüe..

@Maadscar Wrong! Udo left the band in 1987 to form U.D.O. They got David Armitage in, who rehearsed with the band from 1987 to 88, then in 1988 some time, he was replaced with Reece.Jörg Fischer, Accept's second guitarist left the band around this time too, before they started to record 'Eat The Heat'. Wolf recorded all the guitars on the album, and a few months before they started to tour, they found a new second guitarplayer, James Stacy.
