I know I shouldn't compare but I'm gonna say it. I've gone off Pentatonix as they sound so mainstream now and latched onto VoicePlay. There's something about getting really famous and then sounding so...manufactured. VoicePlay is my current earcandy. A little fame helps but when it sounds like everything else it's easy to just get turned off by it. And Avi comes NOWHERE near how good Geoff is at bass. Geoffs notes are sublimely deep.10 years ago

Out of Pentatonix, Home Free, and Voiceplay, I think that Geoff (Voiceplay) is the better bass out of the three. It sounds much, much, much cleaner than Avi's (Pentatonix) bass and not as growly as Tim's (Home Free). But, this is my opinion, all three are amazing vocalized basses, but Geoff comes to the top for me.10 years ago
