It's a load of crap - art is just art, whether metal, hardcore, rock, other forms of punk, classical, hip-hop, funk, jazz, electronic, etc. The only important thing is whether you enjoy the music or not. Believe it or not i like BMTH, Suicide Silence as well as Cannibal Corpse, Aborted, Suffocation, etc... Its allowed. I dont like all deathcore (actually alot i dont like) but i dont bash it and say what is true metal. Its all music. Music is beautiful. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I have to agree on Make Them Suffer. They bring a lot of cooler things to the table. They're quite technical and using the symphonic/blackened elements gives them a very unique sound. But I do agree that a lot of deathcore are just cheap copies of every other band. Good deathcore bands usually look to their roots of pure death metal, i.e. All Shall Perish, but then you have others who use Hot Topic bands as a focal point, which leads to utter shit.12 years ago

@KcinEWofficial JFAC was only deathcore with their EP Doom (which was terrible) but when they grew a pair and actually became Death Metal when Genesis came out, they became good. Also, BMTH is fucking horrible! Deathcore sucks but they aren't even that! They are in a genre which is even lower than that: metalcore. The sorriest and lamest excuse of "metal" this world has ever come to know. To make it simple, anything with 'core' in the name, fucking sucks.12 years ago
