In my opinion this is a bit under-produced. I think they got too caught up in the "raw black metal" kind of sound and intentionally recorded this poorly. Which is some people's style, I guess just not mine.11 years ago

Their earlier symphonic black style was so much better. In the shadow of a thousand suns is similar to alot of cradles stuff but it just feels so much better. Some of the piano in that album.Omg its magic to my ears. Their newer stuff does not do it for me:(11 years ago
