That's Me performed in Japan tour on Nov 25th 1978. The dancers are full of energy, and are very good. Plenty of training would be needed for this routine. The girls look beautiful in their sparkling outfits. Abba created a huge fan base in every country they visited, such was and still is their popularity.

You are very observant about a Hollywood movie influence. The film they emulate is "Saturday Night Fever" (John Travolta, 1977). Xanadu came just a couple of years later (1980) and pretty much added roller skates & special effects :-) As far as the MUSIC is concerned, it's ALL BRILLIANT... Imagine: ABBA. Bee Gees & Olivia Newton-John!!! Wow... Actually they all know each other and they even PERFORMED together in an Australian show (look it up, it's amazing; I think it's Olivia's show)

I have to say I prefer the video of the song. The images are much crisper and you get the close ups of their pretty faces.

Earlier today someone posted a message directed at me. Even though it is in my email box, it does not seem to be up here. I would have loved to have responded to it, but, such is life!

I was not telling you are anyone else what you should or should not say. I was simply trying to make the point that, in my opinion, trying to help people in need makes more sense than telling them to go back where they came from and leave me alone. This week alone, I put in eight hours or volunteer work at Saint Barnabas Hospice. But in the words of the great band known as ABBA "that's me"!

Thank you. It is better, isn't it. You should reread the context of what I was saying. I was referring to those foul-mouths who must use profanity to make their point. Usually, that depicts a lack of education and/or a "ghetto-like" mentality. Lastly, one of today's major problems is people thinking they can tell others what they should or should not, may or may not say. Frankly, I no longer care and lecture my classes using whatever best fits the description. My students seem to love it, too.

I agree with you that this music is a lot better than a lot of what comes out today. However, I thinking that telling people to get their butts back to the ghetto and stay there expresses too much negativity. Just my opinion.

Just sitting here watching and listening to REAL talent, then thinking about all the ghetto crap and tom-tom noise being produced by people today who cannot carry a tune in bucket. I am so sick of these marble-mouthed losers who think swearing in a song is 'cool.' Get your butts back to the ghetto and stay there.
