@rockinthefirebird Warren played that strat rather often between 1989 and 1991 in the Allman Brothers. Rumor is that someone stole the guitar. He had special pickups in it that were marketed as Eric Clapton pick ups. And indeed in some old Clapton videos, he is playing Strats with the same pickups. But in recent years Clapton, like Jeff Beck and David Gilmore is using just the stock Strat pick ups. Gary Moore also used stock strat pickups in his Strat but Moore was more of a Les Paul man.
