man, I was going through a rough time, and really crying out to God a couple of days ago.. And I felt God saying, turn on the radio. This song came on. It was like you were sitting there listening to me pray, and then wrote this song just for that moment... wow. thank you so much Abandon Kansas, for sharing the talent you are blessed with.

my band played with them at a small show a couple years ago. They were the nicest dudes I had ever met. They hung out with all the local bands and helped us set our stuff up. Really good guys.

I have to agree with what crosscountrytc said...much more rock driven live. I saw them this past week at my university and it was one of my favorite songs they performed live. I'm right there with you, but it's a great song either way.

It's much more rockish when it's performed live. I actually kind of like both this and the way they do it live. Sometimes it's kind of fun for a band to do something a little different every now and then. Heck, the original version of Minutes is kind of different from the rest of their work.

No disrespect to the lyrics or the lyric video, because they're both beautiful, but as soon as heard the pop beat, I was disappointed because this is not the Abandon Kansas I fell in love with. Ad Astra Per Aspera was THE perfect album that released last year and I hope they stay true to their original sound (and I hope the comments below me are true saying this is not the direction they are going for). Much love for Abandon Kansas!
