I am, and will always be, the proud son of an eastern Kentucky coal miner. I was raised in Pikeville, Kentucky; where every man on my holler was a miner. May God bless and keep our miners and their families. To the families of Beckley, W. Virginia; you will always be in our prayers and I pray that God gives you peace in your time of loss. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to ALL our miners... nationwide. We are a proud bunch and may we never forget the sacrifices made for us.

I'm from a Ky coal-mining town. Yes we all have family and friends affected by it, doesn't mean I like to think about my brother wheezing everyday, or the explosion at my old mans mine (William Station, heard of it?)

Balls up, black lung isn't real, and we are gonna live forever.
