Are these jerks able to do anything else than making horrible noise and trashing beautiful Fender guitars? ....i guess not...

Hey I remember this band, they used to be The Jesus and Mary chain. J/k, I can appreciate what there doing. Good to see the sound isn't dead.

Yeah that's a bit of a silly point to make. The vocals are delivered like that on purpose as is the case with many shoegaze/noise bands ie Autolux. It wouldn't work as well any other way. Nothing wrong with the lyrics from my end.

Craigs List

I disagree. If the lyrics and the vocal delivery were more "in your face", it wouldn't work.

I get you but on the flip side if you had a really powerful siner you'd just end up thinking "keep quiet I'm trying to listen to the guitar here!" Theres one thing you pay your money for with APTBS and it aint the the bass, the drums, the vocals or the lyrics!

Mr.Modular

I love the energy and guitar noise, but the lyrics and Oliver's singing makes it really hard for me to enjoy APTBS. I saw them live, and it was the best live show I've ever seen, and I'm not exaggerating one bit. Just please, please work on better lyrics, and practice singing more.

Leftover Crack/Choking Victim/Morning Glory/Just about any punk/crust band proves my theory.

In a sense it does, a person who is classically trained knows stuff and how to "properly" play it. But a person who picks it up, and teaches them self adds humanism too it. Not playing every note perfect. Sure they can write good stuff, but it doesnt mean its gonna have the same feeling. And Zepplin, they may be good. But listen to the guitars, there is lots of sloppiness, thats the humanism aspect. Hendrix was the same. Real people playing music.

Despite what you may think, being able to play one's instrument does not hinder creativity. Real music comes from people who are passionate and believe in what they are doing. I liked this performance. I like Led Zeppelin.

I hate to sound like a prick and quote his song but "its what you do, not who you are" they are people trying to put titles on things to make them "stand out."
