actually not a 100% correct. too explain the word "lifetime", in prison terms. A lifetime in Sweden is ~21 years. My guess is that with a "lifetime" they are talking about the 30 years wasted in war. Let's also consider the fact that 300ish years ago the average lifetime weren't very long. So 30 years could have been considered the time a average life will last, counting in wartimes on the already "low" average lifetime.

Np dude, well basicly the song talks about the time where Sweden was in War for a pretty long time (30 years= 3 decades, where they say " They've been to war a decade, two more to come) It can also refer to the fact that there is still war in the world today. ;)
