My friends from Denmark, "A Friend In London" stopped in at the studio while they were here in town for a show. We recorded them playing their track, "Solo Machine"... enjoy!

About "A Friend In London":

A Friend in London was formed in 2005, when lead singer Tim Schou won the contest "Danish Young Talent 2005" which led to the recording of the band's first single, "Thoughts of a Boheme". Since then the band has been touring all over Denmark while playing their part in various contests, including winning the European final of "Bodog Million Dollar Battle" and receiving praising live-reviews on their way.

The Danish national radio station P3 has also picked up on the sounds of the band, providing airplay for the single "Shoot Me" as well as one of the largest Danish TV-stations , TV2, has been using the track "Dead Beat" in a TV-commercial contest.

The band has until recently put their focus on the Danish music scene, although there has been a couple of trips abroad;

In November 2008 Tim went to London to play several gigs on different stages for singer-songwriters - including 'The Original Songwriters Showcase' (watch video-clip below) - and again in April 2009, this time together with Sebastian to play new concerts with new songs.

In June 2009 A Friend in London participated in the NXNE Festival in Toronto, Ontario, playing two shows that made new contacts among representatives of the Canadian music industry. A follow-up to the Canadian success is currently on the drawing board.

A Friend in London has through the years been recording various singles and is currently working on putting together tracks for the first album.

The music features the powerful voice of Tim Schou in an energetic and melodic pop-rock universe.
