I am a HUGE fan of A Fine Frenzy! I think Alison Sudol is very talented and I have been listening to her from the beginning of her career. I own every album and have loved EVERY song, until now. Winter White is a big disappointment for me because of one word. I don't want to sound petty but part of the appeal of liking this artist is that she doesn't need to swear, she's much too talented for that. I felt like that word undermined the song and definitely the album and is a contradiction to the anticipated message of the album. I am hopeful this won't happen again!

Okay about her saying a bad word in a christmas song... I think it fits with what shes saying. I dont mind when its in a song that actually means something. If you dont want to listen to a song that says that around christmas then you dont have to but to me this song and the whole ep is perfection and one little cuse word doesnt taint it at all for me.

It's not that they have equal talent, it's that something reminded me of her. I was a huge Swiftie for a long time, and I think that she is very talented. Ali is EXTREMELY talented, and beautiful, and I think that she carries more emotion in her songs. It was not a comparison of talent. It was the pronunciation of the words that reminded me of Swift's pronunciation.

It may be a technicality but she says "happy G******* New Year" so I think she just hates New Years Eve. lol. :D

@dannyyspencerr If you haven't already figured this out, this is kind of an angry, sad Christmas album. Notice how it's based on the sad song "Blue Christmas"? She's just expressing her emotions in her music like all good artists do.
