i was so disappointed the time the 'mint condition' one happened to me. it was supposed to be brand new, i get it and the slipcover looks like it's been chewed on by rats or something. lol

Off center pressings of all vinyl, especially modern vinyl, really pisses me off and makes me want to ditch the whole format.

When I was 12, I lent my recently acquired copy of Pink Floyd`s DSOTM to my school's English teacher. When one day she drove back to my place to give it back, she got out of her VW beetle, gave me the empty sleeve, went back to her car, picked up the record off the back seat's floor and handed it to me, with scratches. I had just learned that you NEVER lend your vinyl records. EVER.

A couple of weeks ago I was searching through a pile of not so great condition records when I noticed the Cars Candy-O cover was in near mint condition for a $1.99, I pulled out the record and it looked like a kid took a nail to it, I was so disappointed.

Or the factory sealed lp that contains the wrong record ... OR the 2 record set that mistakenly repeats 2 of the 4 sides .... OR , my personal favorite , the brand new factory sealed disc that is cracked , and I fail to notice the problem until I start playing the damned thing . And , yet , in spite of all that aggravation , I just can't quit buying .

And that my friend is why I gave up vinyl 20yrs ago. Although I did keep several discs I bought in the 70s for nostalgia purposes.
