Yes Alice, can hear the Loreena influence, now that you mention it. Again, a fine version with a lovely trumpet solo.

I remember reading and playing this song out of a music book in a guitar class in highschool. I fell in love with the song but could never find a performance I felt lived up to the song or emoted it properly......until that is I heard this. Amazing.

I came onto this video expecting a version of the song that was less amazing than Frank Sinatra's version, but Alice Groves has made this song entirely unique and amazing in its own way. Beautiful job, not that you need my compliments to affirm yourself.

great classic...interesting version...but a bit disheartened by some incorrect lyrical phrasing.....should be..."so back to my room, and there in the gloom, i cry.....tears of goodbye."....otherwise its one of the better versions available. thank you.

Hi hamzamans, This is my cover version (I am singing here) of the song originally made for the Brazilian film "Black Orpheus" in the 1950's. This video is my own original work. Glad you like it! Alice Groves Canada
