This song is a really interesting if a day in the life of a someone living in the ghetto. I LOVE contrast from the illustrative lyrics of day to day"hood life" to the gentrified black (in this case though the voice actor is black I think he's too be taken as a white man gentrified AND in a wholly separate situation, an easy one ) thinking only about his face his ettiquitte and image and the edification of his teacher. Ugh but that's a very common concept in their brilliant scores!
