Awesome album. Unfortunately I haven't got to see them live yet (I'm 17). Hopefully, they'll make a new album and tour again.

this song and the whole 'On a Storytellers Night' album is a true masterpice, sadly too few know it....but those of us that do are truly blessed.... @matlad1970, back in the day these guys were called Heavy Metal, but they are still a rock band :-) no disrespect indended....and like you say one hell of a live gig if you are lucky enough to catch one......

This song brings back so many memories ... I bought this album in New Zealand and listened to it - especially this song and "Just like an arrow" - when I took a walk along the shores of Lake Taupo. One of my absolute favourites by Magnum!

excellent song, seen them live and whilst not what i consider a true all out rock band they still put on one hell of a show, and still of one of my old skool favorites.

This was written by Tony Clarkin to show how pointless war is. After the shots have been fired and the spent ammo casings are scattered around your feet, there are people dead in front of you, and people dead behind you. Sometimes war can't be avoided, but it's never a success. Beautiful song.

This song is just so brilliant. Im really into heavy metal such as LOG and Dimmu Borgir but i could listen to this 24/7
