Castleneck Mike was a guy in the hardcore scene in Boston that we all knew. He killed his girlfiend who most of us didn't know, then he killed himself. He had a lot of issues and she was a nice girl from what I have heard. It was a bummer for all concerned, especially the girl and her family. Kevin 454 BB bass player

@byf1864 i was shocked to see they didn't have a wikipedia page so i contacted elgin's manager through twitter to verify some facts and then created it myself a few months ago. that's a fascinating heart-wrenching story indeed! (i've read about 1/4th of it so far) so, this song is based on that article? did someone in the band know them?
