I never liked 311 back in the day, but I'd only heard the radio stuff so I thought I'd give them a second chance. They just blew that chance. I almost felt sorry for the band while watching the embarrassing, over-long, boring, and virtually talentless drum solo but the singer killed any sympathy I might have had. He has one of the most obnoxiously irritating singing voices I've ever encountered (suffering through his singing on "Come Original" or "Down" is on par with listening to a book on tape of that Fred kid from Youtube reading the entire bible) and the prattle during the intro made him look and sound like a vapid dunderhead. This always was, is, and always shall be hippie-dippie trash for 14-year-olds who wear $65 tie-dye t-shirts their moms bought them at the mall and brag about smoking weed to anyone who will listen.

I think the whole place was in this pit..Even some girls..Some moved to the back cause they knew what was about to ensue..Mad male rage !! This was in 2000 before camera phones i wish it was video but then again it wouldnt have happened if everyone was filming the concert like they do now..No one lives in the moment like u should at a 311 show.

Dude u will never get to see the real rowdy ass 311 shows..They stopped around 2003 or so..But when i was in high school 96-00''.I went every year to phillys electric factory a medium sized club fits about 800 headz..This is when sounsystem just came out and they hardly even played it..It was 20 dollar tix for 90 minutes of hardcore slam dancing mosh pits and crowds surfing.Sorry there heydays has past.

Back when 311 shows rocked n were rowdy as hell.I just got done smokin mad dank nugz in the shittter an this song came on and he said basically what he said and i was right in the middle and this huge ass slam dank bouncing headz mosh pit ensued !!! I've never seen a fuckin pit that big and the whole place bouncing up n down to the beat !!! Old skool 311 for life !!! Ill never forget those fun ass shows..Gettin in big ass mosh pits and noddin my big ass head !!
