I wonder if these niggaz remember these lyrics. Would be great if they performed this song once in a recent concert.

I was living in the LBC bacc in the 90s and I do remember at some point Insanes and RTC had a following out. I think this is to unify them a little more like he did with the Eastsidaz. I think Swoop G from DPGC was in with the Insanes. A lot of DPG is a collection of some of the Crip sets from the LBC. (19th St, Insanes, LBC Crips, Rollin' 60s).

Yeah nomibe2911 is right - he was an enormously talented rapper, but coming from a poverty-background, had no idea about the theory behind music. He never wrote his lyrics when he first started - according to the D.O.C "he just stepped to the mic and started rapping". Doggy Dogg best rapper of the '90s hands down - still keepin' it funky enough

Snoop knew nothing about bar structure at this time. He didn't know about the 16 bar structure. When Dre made him audition for Death Row, The D.O.C had to teach him how to make a song in a verse/chorus structure.

big snoop fan, warren g fan and nate dogg fan, big fan of 213 overall. im not from cali and don't know a whole lot bout bangin, but why did warren g say loccs down, doggs up? I thought loccs was crips and doggz was bloods. maybe im wrong. could somebody explain?? even snoop say im a dogg i could never be a locc. then he constantly shouts out insane but not a whole lot about 20's, which is his set. i could just be clueless bout all dis. i know a cat from LB who say snoop real deal tho.

@Beechboy68 I don't know how all this came about, but I don't respect snoop's street cred.. O'well, I don't even know him any way. He got some money I hope to live to see & I respect that!
