Most concerts I go to the band always tries to get the crowd to sing a song back to them and it never works out. The fact that Our Lady Peace got the crowd to sing the entire song is a really impressive achievement for any band. Bands like it when the crowd sings back because it shows that their music really did touch the lives of their fans. It is also a great way to get the crowd to interact with the singer in the show. Watching this always gives me chills because you know that this song meant something to each and every audience member.

I think that this is an OLP staple for most shows. Raine and the band likes to get the crowd involved and he lets them sing along, so what? I own the DVD and I'd say the crowd definitely got their moneys worth. It just shows the passion and love OLP fans have for the band. I don't know man lol. I just don't see it as a big deal. If it were for most of the show then yeah. However it was just one song.

Well to be honest I wouldn't mind singing the whole song because the rest of the show was fantastic. I think I might be a little confused because I would expect Raine to sing the song but that wouldn't be a problem. We have something different here

I think both of you completely missed the point. Its not about singing the song yourself but rather developing a sincere and genuine bond with their fans. By letting them sing the song and with the way they've interacted with the crowd, OLP tore down a barrier with their fans that most bands put up. Raine even hints at that at the end of the song. Personally, I would have felt humbled and honored to sing one their songs along with the crowd in the bands presence. A memory worth holding on to.

It's funny that people hate this. But i agree, I would like to hear Raine sing most of the song and not the crowd. The rest of the DvD is pure awesomeness in my eyes so it's still worth it to be a part of the show or buy the dvd. Thanks alot for commenting & for watching!

I'm a big fan of getting the audience/fans involved but I believe I would have been upset to pay the $75? ticket to hear the audience sing the entire song. LOL!
