A great chorus...it's much too busy for me, but I admire their terpsichorean efforts. It certainly keeps them in shape.

Surprised this wasn't marked down for being too patriotic

Fantastic Job - ALL OF YOU!!!  This from a "Crow" (DAMMT - my voice is gone!) who used to sing with the Alexandria Harmonizers.   I do well understand the effort which when into this wonderful performance!

spitfireale60 the writing is tremendous!  Sounds as if David Wright could have arranged this piece by the manner in which progressions are presented in a most unconventional manner.  In addition, your arrogance is most indicative of this ensemble.  Dont commit insults toward those who have been lauded degrees of acadamia.

Totally missed the point!  The presentation has all the intracasies of a marching band; probably even more so.

Someone could do a documentary about Barbershop Choruses, and especially this one. I was in Texas for ten years, and sang with "The Men of Note," just north of Dallas. It takes a lot of time to be competitive, and one does not sing with the idea that it is an enjoyable evening out with the boys. It takes more time than you would think, and we had one wife tell her husband it was barbershop or her, and he quit. We had another who divorced his wife and went on to that year's national award as the best barbershop quartet. Lots of stories. I had a job and could not commute to Dallas for the VM, but heard of a man who commuted from England, each week, to sing with them. I do not know if that is true, but, it was believed, so there are a few stories to be documented. The VM wins every year that they can compete, meaning that if they win then they cannot compete, the next year - giving them time to hone their craft. My wife would say that there is not much to do in Dallas other than restaurants, and movies and so weekends find them all full. Maybe barbershop is an alternative. Well, this is too long.

Who did the choreography?  It looks like a marching band on stage.

What an arrangement!!!!!  One never knew if one were in a major or minor mode!  This was writing at its best.  It's great to see Jim back at the helm!

The arrangement was by David Wright, not Jim Clancy.

the only thing better than this is hearing them in person....which I had the privilege of doing in April 2014....you guys are awesome!  (yes, I'm from Dallas, might be biased)

Wow, I mean really you guys, couldn't you save some of the points for the other choruses?  Almost perfect in presentation? The unison was perfect, I know what you guys sacrificed for this.  158 men with voices coming together as a brotherhood of harmony and love. Staggering. I was in Las Vegas and witnessed the event, talked with some of your members , and what I received was pure class and pure love! Job well done and Medal well deserved! Congratulations!

Maybe it's the miccing, but I'm not as impressed with this performance vocally as I was in 2012. I will say the bass control in higher notes was beautiful.
