As soon as I heard this tune I had to jog my memory & search thru my record collection, the bassline kinda reminds me of an old rare groove classic by a group called Flight/ LP Excursion Beyond track called Face to Face 1980 on Motown. It would not surprise me if there was a bit of inspiration off of this!!! But hey! Im a big Dego fan & anyone who re-creates some similarity with past greatness to present future funk!
