Go right ahead friend lol. And I've never actually thought of practicing like that. I'm always doing boring scales and chord inversions. Occasionally I practice improv but my phrasing is terrible

most impressive John! I may as well use my guitars as coffee tables now! really, really talented. must be something in that Norwegian air...perhaps its the water haha :) Malmsteen and LeTekro had/have that same fire in their playing.
