Weldon was from west Texas and worked with Buddy Holly  some. The late and great steel player Maurice Anderson saidWeldon made it look easy seemingly making no effort and you can tell what Maurice meant.If you didn't see Weldon playing you wold think he was working up a sweat. What a great steel player!!!
