Teen Angel (Surrey-Surrey) by Mark Dinning (stereo mix)
This prototypical Teen Tragedy ballad immediately followed two other death-related songs, “El Paso” and “Running Bear,” into the #1 spot on Billboard. Mark was the younger brother of the 1940s-50s singing group The Dinning Sisters.
