Pop Memories-charted track, not elsewhere on YouTube as of this posting. The Broadway musical "Very Warm For May," staged by Vincente Minnelli, ran for only a meager 59 performances; yet this outstanding Kern-Hammerstein ballad from the play's score was so good that today it's still worth hearing by almost any performer (but was Masters vocalist Harlan Rogers attempting to become the Frankie Valli of his day?). The Artie Shaw and Tommy Dorsey versions were the ones most favored by record buyers at the time.
