He owned PIONEER PICTURES which produced the movie GONE WITH THE WIND with David O.. Selznick sold to MGM. this recording is great!!!!! attended the ROBERT Q. LEWIS CBS RADIO NETWORK show in the Arthur Godrey audience studio 51 East 52 St. Manhattan CBS STUDIO BUILDING.

Hard to believe that if you were a young Midtown Manhattan working guy in the 30's/40's - you could take your girlfriend dancing at any major Midtown Hotel. The Taft on 7th Ave and 50th (now known as the Michelangelo) had the George Hall orch and later the Vincent Lopez orchestra. Also, the Roxy move palace was just around the corner on 50th - connected to the Taft Hotel.
