We had a jukebox in our basement growing up, with actual 45rpm singles, and ours said 1910 Fruitgum Company. One of those things that "sticks" in your mind.

Ohio Express and 1910 Fruitgum Company being on the same label (Buddah Records), traded their signature songs for the other band to sing. For 1910 Fruitgum Company, it was Yummy, Yummy, Yummy, and for Ohio Express, it was 1-2-3 Red Light.

as for the Ohio Express and this 1910 F.Co. music track being the same- i've covered this song for years and love the 1910 version better, it just swings more and has slight discernible differences on guitars. also- @ 1:30 when they step up a half note the 1910 drummer drops a couple rolls slightly different. both bands were on Buddha Records but the OE version was a demo on another label. total music geekery here. love Yummy Yummy Yummy!

Yeah! The scene after the "How Not To Be Seen" sketch where the band is playing this while hiding in boxes---that was hilarious! I don't know who the band was but they did a pretty good rendition of this song.

The Oho Express were the only ones that EVER Recorded this Song...The 1K was adjusted, where the Lead Vocal comes from, or this is a Karaoke. TRUST ME. Mark of the 1910 Fuitgum Company did not EVER Record this. Yep, Karaoke. That is not my Mark. Just for the Record!!!
