My granny used to sing "O flower of Scotland we miss you" she was a Highlander lost her husband and both her brithers in WW1. She died 20 years ago but she was a couthy woman, forever knitting and singing, and she could cook I would run to her hoose at lunchtime from school and get a belly full of stodge. She wasted nothing, everything went into the pot.When I hear this song I think of her.
