my fellow Louisiana natives!!! see, we're not all like the dumbasses the media uses to represent our area. (swamp people) don't get me wrong, we love to go out and catch frogs barehanded, riding four wheelers thru a muddy patch of woods, etc. but we, or at least I, do it while jamming some pantera, lamb of god, and even twelve stones! these guys were not too far down the road from me when they started out. as were others like Evanescence, I wrestled a bear once, Anxiety, etc. but these guys, and the almighty, under appreciated but super talented band called, "Acid Bath" are by far the best as far as song writing abilities, relatability, modesty, and professionalism, among other things. I hate Christian music, ESP Christian rock, which to me is defeating the whole purpose and meaning of rock music. rebellion, anger, insecurity, etc. but I jam 12 stones all the time and they've helped shape who I am as a musician and a person. as well as gave me the confidence to believe that if u want it bad enough you can achieve it. even if u live in fucking cow town Louisiana!

The band's name is a reference to Biblical principles and their faith - the twelve stones in the Hoshen (a breastplate worn by the high priest of Levitical order in the Old Testament) and the twelve apostles that followed Jesus.

12 stones is a christian band they just went secular and not on a christian lable. i sawe them live this year in mobile alabama and their awsome! They have different lyrics then other christian rock bands like red and others but they praise god in evrything they do and proudly post it in all the thanks yous of evry cd and when i talked with paul the lead singer i could tell he was led by god to bring great music!
