I like their old stuff and new stuff. Thanks for sharing how SOME of us feel. If people were true fans, they'd stay true to the band, and I have.. Okay people have an opinion, but if they were that shit why give their new stuff the time of day? Things change, people change and music changes. This particular sound of music was popular back then and now they are more themselves. They're doing what they're doing because they like doing it. I'd like to see these pansies make their own music...

Dude. I've been listening to this band since 95. Bought this album the day it came out, and I'll say it; New AFI is shit. Their music has been effectively castrated. No balls to it. No nothing. And furthermore, fuck Nickelback. I don't know any true AFI fans that even listen to those Canadian cockholes. So, for real, and I think I speak for everyone, shut up.

As a guitarist, I think all AFI is good in its own way. Only an ignorant fuck would compare old to new. Two completely different things.

@brenhampsten they never sold out. people change over time, and want to express themselves in different ways. just look at every band or artist in the world. every single one of them has changed over the years

@bobokk Their supporting it to enhance a band, not to act cool. But yeah, people need to know a band's music before supporting it

@bobokk First of all poser is not the right word. i think you mean tool. second, are you really gonna critisize someone for liking all of a bands music?

Well OBVIOUSLY you changed. I'm glad you noticed. Now, it's on MTV. Okay, AFI still makes good music. Not my cup of tea, but still very good music. I mean, it's better than half the music out there! If you wanna bitch about AFI changing, do that if that's what you were put on earth for. The rest of us, more sensibly, will listen to Crash Love

@bobokk Well, he sang for Ceremony on one song... I'm not defending AFI's new shit, because I can't stand it, but it seems like he's still at least somewhat connected to his roots.

in high school back in the 90's it was all about being rebelious being your self and partying and punk music was the shit still is to me and afi represented that but now a days its all about guys dressing like chics and long hair and skinny pants kids are pussies now a days so i guess thats who afi does music for now!!!! sad!

@conradskill That's no progression. Name me one band that has changed as much as AFI has. To me, a band that has to keep changing styles is shallow and unfocussed. What are they going to do next? Disco?

@bobokk lolololol (lol). You really want to tell me that this wasn't a progression? Afi didn't go from answer that and stay fashionable straight to crash love! They took on a more aggressive sound, present in shut your mouth and open your eyes, and in black sails in the sunset. This mellowed through the art of drowning, and eventually evolved into the more alternative sound that is present today. Regardless, you are an idiot. :)
