In 1982 Madness were the true Kings of British Pop. The only two disappointments were that this song only made it to number 14 in the charts because they got banned for radio airplay by the BBC. Without the ban it would have been a top 5 single easily. And Our House should have been their second number 1 that year and perhaps their Christmas Number One. It only got to number 5 which still baffles me to this day.
