Once I heard a version of this song that sounded (believe me) even MORE awesome than this one. It is NOT the 94' Demo. Dani Filth would use higher tones in every scream, it was the epitome of bloody epicness. I was never able to find it again, since my computer broke down some years ago. Do you guys know it, perchance?

actually they are since 91' so they make music at least 20 years but yea cof are one of the best extreme metal and they are so unique they are black/goth they are very original

This was the very first COF track I ever heard! I was sold...after the first track. There is not another band I can say this about. Cradle of Filth deserve all the respect in the world for what they have done! Almost 20 years of making music and still going strong. All hail Cradle of Filth

Agreed. I hate how people whine that old Cradle was better. :/ The most that has happened is that their instrumentals have fell more under the symphonic metal category than anything. Which I find a lot more tasteful. The lyrics, the overtones of lust and sex, it's all still there. Can't Cradle just be Cradle instead of Old and New? It's all amazing.

Much like Metallica, the first 4 albums had me on board but either that ship has sailed or I'm getting old cuz the newer albums lost me. I had not heard serious inverted power chord till this band though and that was pretty cool.

@BF1 yea to be able to do 6 to 8 minutes songs that are mostly high pitched screaming is impressive. these "screamo" bands got nothing on Dani. there are death metal vocalist that can hold a scream for like 15 seconds but the intensity of dani's vocals are hard to match. although there is another band called chthonic that are pretty close.

@TheShredder203 I'd agree. Though I liked Dani's vocals right from the start. Dani's vocal gymnastics are second to none. I tried to do it once and and I sound like crap trying it. Only someone like him can pull it of without sounding ridiculous.

@80smetalchild Honestly I live for Dani's vocals. Not only are their lyrics unique but their sound, the way their instruments are unique and Danis vocals couldnt be more perfect for this music.
