at the time the Arabian nights "1001 nights" been written, Iran and north India was parts of the Islamic Arabic Abbasid Empire, and Bagdad was the capital. so even if it included Persian and indian stories, it was still stories written by the ppl of the great Arabic Abbasid Empire, there for therefor its easy argument to Arabs to claimit, not to mention that must of the stories toke place in Iraq and Egypt.

@DjangoMongolianTube1 some of them are Indian (like talking animals) but the biggest part (ali baba -Sindbad...etc) were genuine Baghdad stories about Baghdad life my friend am not talking in prejudice and i know Indians and Persians have a great civilization but you should really read the book plus history is all what we have now in iraq there is no chance in future please don't try to take that from us

@DjangoMongolianTube1 why? your fellow Iranian said that these stories are Persian...if you read the stories you'll find that most of them happened in Baghdad and Egypt and they are Arabs and it's written in Arabic :) yes it wasn't written by the Bedouin Arabs but still Iraq was Arab at that time and Assyrian and Babylonian languages were dead so your friend and you are the only stupid ppl here i guess :)
