One of my all time favorites ...I wore out this cd purchasing up to three of the same released in the 1990's. She and Michael Stipe -Rem were the hottest bands taking the world by storm. I loved all 10,000 Maniacs. Her voice is awesome.11 years ago

The first version I heard of this song was from the Unplugged album, which made me think, "oh yeah, that's a sad song, whatever". Then I bought Our Time in Eden and heard this version. That drum crack at 1:02 just about split me in half; almost like Natalie had slapped my face and demanded that I listen to what she had to say next. This song just freezes my blood every time I hear it.12 years ago
