This was the first record I wouldn't let finish. I would let it play for the first 1:35 then I would pick up the needle and start it all over again and again. I haven't changed in all these yrs. One of my all time favs. Thanks for posting.

I did not know what the meaning of this song was when I first got the album at age 8. However it really hit home 20 years later when I had an affair on my (then) spouse.

It didn't break the top forty charts coming in at 45. It did better on the black charts placing 15 in 1972. Every member of this great underated funk band died with in the last five years. They left us some great music............RIP.................

@irtimed Fantastic band ... they do sort of a dirty funk mix type of music... lead singer is from the Jacksonville, FL area originally... tours with original material but has been known to do some great Ottis Redding covers... check them out..
