I had an 8 track tape with Delaney and Bonnie songs that I have never found else where. Delaney and Bonnie were the first great ensemble band that I ever saw live - what a trip. I love Bonnie, Delaney a true Southern Gentleman. Peace.

Kinda sad seeing this video. Harrison gone, Radle gone, Delaney gone, Keys gone and Gordon locked up probably forever.

wow, what a lineup, I'm willing to bet a few of our friends here look like they shared a nice "spoon" before this performance, nice!

Wow this is so good ! I wonder how many people know that Delaney wrote the song "Superstar " made popular by Karen Carpenter and the person playing the drums wrote that cool piano at the end of Eric Clapton's Layla.

Pretty much the Derek and the Dominoes line up here too. Jim Gordon on drums and Carl Radle on bass in the band. Couldn't see if it was Bobby Whitlock on keys too

I saw the show in '69 at Liverpool Empire when I was 14. When Delaney introduced George, ONE PERSON squealed ( not me ). Everyone was awestruck by George's presence. He looked like a prince. Brilliant show. Delaney played a maroon Les Paul, Eric, a black beauty, George played what looked like Lennon's Epiphone from Let it Be. Rita Coolidge was there and could have had me if she'd played her cards right!

If I were alive 50 years from now, and some child asked me "what is rock and roll?", (or maybe tomorrow), I'd point them to this...what more do you want?
