"Dance Dance wherever you may be, I am the Lord of the Dance", said He. "And I lead you all wherever you may be and I lead you all in the Dance" said He.It's music like this that makes me sad that I quit the Violin. I should start again.

Lest we forget, this is not a Celtic song, nor was it intended as a "group dance" song. It was and continues to be a celebration of the master of (not just any dance but) THE dance, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and it was written as a hymn by the American Shaker faith. The tune was borrowed by English composer Sydney Carter in 1963, and he set the words to it. "The dance" is a portrayal of the life and times of Jesus Christ.

I bought CD from Dublin souvenir shop named Carrol I remember. I have spent almost 2 hours to get my friends and family enough gifts!!! Within this 2 hours, the music was playing all the time. I have to say the atmosphere is so happy and lively with the tunes around. All of a sudden, I realised a traditional Irish music selection would be a good choice for myself, though I would spend 3 more years in Ireland. It is absolutely terrific to listen those music when you driving on Irish road!!!!!!!

No. This really is Lord Of The Dance. Many people know the type of music as 'Riverdance' while it's really modern Irish Folk music, made famous by the piece 'Riverdance' performed at the ESF in 1994, where Michael Flatley performed the dance together with Jean Butler and 'The Troupe' at that time. After he made Riverdance The Show a succes, he went on to write Lord of the Dance, The show, and one of the musical pieces from that show, is whwat you hear in this video ;)
