one of elo finest moments, the whole album is so refined and delicately put together,but this song really really touches one deeply for all small details like the careful string orchestra strokes after some vocal lines, and that inhabitated beauty of fine poetry of smoothly delivered lines like jigsaw puzzle of a twisted tale. I yes there is some influence from beatles post rock n roll era, but it's less experimental and more refined. ELO takes influences to and fro. zoom stand the test of time

@VooDooG1RL Maybe you are thinking of "Dark City" which is a demo on the Eldorado cd? Its short but dark and really cool, wish they made it into a full song, hope this helps:)
