I remember seeing the Moroder Metropolis while visiting Paris in '84. When I think about how good the 1980's sounded, I always remember this movie, especially this song and "Cage of Freedom".

Finaly !!! 28 years later i'm hearing it again !!!!!found the tape where it was recorded on, against all odds, and then shazam : bonnie tyler, and off course gorgio moroder !What a time machine and what a cool piece of the music history ..brings me back to when i was about 6 or seven, becoming best friends with my cousin and hearing this song at night while watching the stars.i thought my cousin had the tape all these years but i did .... Ha !maybe it's time to try to get friends again since life can destroy so much , as well as it creates so much. i've got a call to give or something. sending 80' tapes to him i guess.

When I was an undergrad the drama dept presented silent films andeach day at noon they had them in the auditorium and one was METROPOLISIt still remains in my mind.............so when they had this soundtrack it was evenmore interesting.
